Introduction: Male hormonal contraception known as safe, effective, and reversiblecontraception. World Health Organization (WHO) multicentre study has been conducted aclinical administrating of testosterone regimens progestin to male with a remarkableresult. Azoospermia or severe oligozoospermia occurred in men injection TestosteroneEnanthate (TE) Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA) well TestosteroneUndecanoate (TU) DMPA for longer period. Decreasing gonadotropin astestosterone could lead the amount spermatogenic cells population declining by suppressingthe development many kinds cells. This narrative review was compare howspermatogenic suppression TE TU Combination DMPA. Method: We arerandomly select article journal from several databases individual certainkeywords. The keyword used were : (male contraception) OR (regimen testosterone))AND (progestin) (Testosterone enanthate) undecanoate) OR(male combination)) AND (DMPA cells) OR(Testosterone germ cell development)). After initial searching andindividual website, 16 scientific articles journals selected review. Result: Theresult indicated that had suppressed spermatogenesis, might notsuppressed sperm production period but decreasing type B spermatogoniauntil pachytene spermatocyte did occur. On other hand, couldmaintain due sustainable higher serumMPA combination even longer-acting would have more profound effect that.Conclusion: It better onsperm than DMPA, otherwise further research needs be obtained thecombination on association withintratesticular testosterone.
